Jasaan’s Dannah Joy Tempra bested 19 other aspirants from the different cities and municipalities making her this year’s Miss Kuyamis. The virtual coronation event happened in El Salvador City Auditorium on January 7, 2021 strictly following the IATF guidelines.

During the final question, Tempra was asked “The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the tourism industry has been devastating, as Miss Kuyamis who serves as the tourism ambassadress of Misamis Oriental, what can you do to help revive tourism in this province?”

She replied, “I will help encourage local tourisms, Misamisnons and other local tourists should be encouraged to explore MisOr more. Loving MisOr more means unravelling its beauty from the land to the sea while keeping in mind the safety protocols that need to be followed to ensure the well-being of the community.”

Dannah also received the Best in Gown, Miss Beauty Wise, Miss MADC and Miss Premea Skin and Dental Clinic award.

Sublimely, this 18-year-old stunner will get a chance to represent the province in the national pageant scene.

2nd Runner-up – Princess Nicole Segundo of Naawan

3rd Runner-up – Angeliza Navajo of Claveria

4th Runner-up – Alyssa Marie Cordova of Gitagum
